The top priority for the Myriad Gardens Foundation was to update its brand mark. The Myriad Gardens had been through a transformative renovation and the logo design was rough and dull. The logo update was needed to preserve the recognition and blend with existing signage in the garden, and to communicate the vibrance of a fresh organization under new management with programmed community events.
Refinements to the mark and typeface were transformative. We adjusted spacing, made the thickness and curve of the lines consistent and selected a new extensive typeface family Legacy and Legacy Sans which provided beautiful options for a variety of marketing applications. We also created a multi-colored option for the Gardens to use in marketing and programming to use in tandem with the traditional green mark, used primarily for operations and development.
